Precious memories

Precious memories.... those that are like the elite of all memories!
The very good (or even great ones) that may have passed and probably you won't be able to live similar things again,
but still they're going to have a special place in the back of your brain forever.

For me, one of the greatest memories I have are from my early childhood years (around 5 or 6 years maybe), when I was waking up those winter afternoons after my nap and I was sitting in the couch, between the blankets, with my mom and we were watching Charlie Chaplin movies (I remember watching the Oscars too during one of these afternoons).
Even the thought makes me feel a unique kind of warmth and much loved.....

P.S. Thanks mom!

"Wild World"

My mother was raised by her mother with the "philosophy" that the world is a very nice place and everyone in it is good, there are no problems, there are no bad things and no bad people, everyone has good intentions.

Yes, this doesn't exist.

But still mommy raised me with a lighter version of the same "philosophy".
It took me 26 and a half years (it took my mother almost twice the time) and a certain amount of bad experiences to realize how bad the world can be, what some people are made of and are capable of doing.....
but the truth is that the way my mother raised me gave me the opportunity to be able to imagine how nice the world could be and never stop dreaming about its great examples of people....!
