"In the pale moonlight"

"I was sleeping, late at night,
when I heard a sound that gave me an awful fright.
I looked out of my window to clear my sight,
there sat the Devil's Son in the pale moonlight......."

"Us two" (a tiny poem)

You were afraid of what you had inside your soul
And I was talking about a worth-exploring, imaginary, world

"Grey Clouds"

"Fly" (a poem & a song)

See I can fly away from you
And reach the sky, fly over you
It took me time to rise from the tomb
But I'm alive and I thank you

I was lost in space for a while
I've left my broken heart behind
And as I was fighting my mind
I found something kept inside

Always trying to be there for you
Cuddle you softly to comfort you
But pain takes turns in life
And hey, the dices keep rolling

I've left the door open for you
You passed by never seeing the view
But what else can you do
Life is for the fighters

Walking next to each other
Sharing our minds with one another
But suddenly a wall between us
Keeps you from seeing the rest

See I can fly away from you
And reach the sky, fly over you
It took me time to rise from the tomb
But I'm alive and I thank you

Unicorn help!

The word "perfection".

We grow up in a world, inside a society, that asks us to be...perfect.
We should (or must?) have the perfect body, the perfect studies and the perfect career, have the perfect social life. We should (or must) have the perfect boyfriend/girlfriend, the perfect relationship and friendships, the perfect family. We should (or must) have the perfect behavior.
But why? Why should we go after perfection so much? To be accepted by others and prove ourselves to the society? It's so much to try so hard to accomplish perfection that sometimes we may lose the real point. We may try so hard to be perfect that we forget to  live, be happy and enjoy everything!

I was thinking about all these a few weeks ago and decided that one-step-at-a-time I'm going to forget about the word "perfection" and its derivatives.
There's a lyric by Serj Tankian that says "I abhor the whore who calls herself reality".
I like rephrasing it, so it goes like that: "I abhor the word perfection!".
Yes I do!

Balance

For every failure there is a success.
For every second of crying there is a smile.
For every negative thought there is a positive one.
For every lost love there will be a new one.
For every bad experience there is a great one.
For every bad/toxic person there is a good/nice one.
For every moment you didn't have a good time there will be a moment when you'll have more fun that you could have imagined.
For every fake word there is real one.
For every boring moment there is a very exciting one.
For every bad surprise there is a good one.
For every bad day that comes to an end there is a new one starting.

So, life is balanced after all.....right?!

A thought

It's a thought, and a feeling too.
It's that one that goes like
"I WOULDN'T LIKE TO BE ANYWHERE ELSE RIGHT NOW, BUT HERE!".

It's great to really feel like that, especially when things are far from great.
To feel great being exactly where you are, living the moment you are living, being who you are and having the things you have.

"Her watery eyes" (a poem)

Her watery eyes were looking at me
while she was standing in front of me
Her dry lips
She should have been empty
but she was not
I stresses my hand so I can touch her
and she touched the glass on the same spot

A tear fell across her cheek

"Two"

*Two people.
*Two photos.
*Two versions.
*Two color palettes.

"Movement!"

The beauty of chaos

Imagine that you're standing on a cliff and you're pushed.
Imagine falling into the sea that's in front of the cliff.
That's how losing things and people you were used to have in your life feels like, how you feel when situations and relationships change and everything in your life comes upside down.

Imagine trying to swim so you can reach the nearest shore.
That's how trying to escape the chaos that not-so-good changes bring with them feels like.

But there comes a moment that you realize that the best thing to do is stop trying to find the exit, stop trying to find your way out of the chaos.
The moment when you decide to lay back and enjoy it.
After all through the chaos you come across things you could have never imagined getting close to, you move on in life and you become a newer version of yourself...

...so, relax and enjoy the beauty!

GED (a band)

I'll begin with one of their songs (my favorite):

This is their YouTube channel:
& you can meet them and their work here:

"Veils upon the trees" (a poem)

The sugar white veils
were hanged between the trees
And singing girls and birds
were the most beautiful thing there is
A flower was hanging
from every curl of their hair
Small screams were the sign
of a just starting fair!
