"Searching for home"

When you're searching for who you really are is inevitable to go back and search for your blood ties...

Regrets

Until a few (maybe one or two) years ago I used to say that I had no regrets. Everything I had done or hadn't was fine.
Well, maybe regrets are a "grown-up thing" and as I grow up they are born...or realized.

So, I regret.....

* situations I pushed things (and in the end I realized I didn't have to)

* two choices of boyfriends I have made in the past (with the life philosophy, political beliefs and ideas I have today I wouldn't make them)

* the times I wasn't 100% myself

* for all the "fuck you"s (metaphorically and literally) I didn't say when I had to

* the times I was afraid of doing something and in the end.... I didn't do it

* the times I didn't give the answer (or no answer, that's an option too) they deserved to some people

* the moments I could have been happy but I wasn't

"Serenity" (a video)

I have started making small videos lately, and that's the first!
You can watch it here.

"Is it a plane...?!"

Makes me think about getting away, travelling, flying........

Sun is rising!

A bucket list (with no money)

A bucket list is a list of things that you suppose to be before you die.
But there are alternative versions as well, maybe a summer bucket list or just a bucket list that will help you do some things to spice up your every day life.
Recently I made my own, with a bunch of "trinkety" things I would like to do in this period of my life. What's special about it is that it consists of things that need no money to be done!
After all, they say that best things in life come for free, aren't they....?!

* Dance in the rain.
* Sing in public (not perform, for example sing while you're having coffee with friends on a cafe).
* Meditate in nature.
* Have a great-great laugh.
* Smile to a stranger.
* Scream! (done!)
* Watch 12 classic movies.
* Create a confetti rain and stand under it (done!).
* Gaze at the stars one night.
* Watch the rain.
* Spend a weekend morning watching cartoons.
* Have a fork to comb my hair (like Ariel did, also done).
* One day, have breakfast while watching the sun rising...(done!)
*...and another day, have dinner while watching the sun setting!
* Do a "grown-up thing", for example start saving money.
* Discover a new song I like very much, each day, for a week!

Photo of the day!

A midsummer night's dream!

I have this dream lately....
(daydreaming, nightdreaming, a dream is a dream!)

I would like to be able to have a vintage Volkswagen van and travel all over Greece, being able to stop at every place, at every beach I like...!

What an experience would that be...!
And such freedom...!

I would decorate the inside of the van with multicolored garland lights, cute vintage (maybe polka dot) curtains, a mattress/bed/sofa with handmade pillows, I would have nice kitchenwear and fabrics.....and on the outside a tent and a colorful small table with chairs!

A child's philosophy

What I really like about children is that they have their own perspective of the world.
Yes, adults do as well, but children do it with a really magical, full of imagination way!
They try to understand and translate the world around them with the terms they're familiar with.
So did I. And I still remember my best (ever) philosophy I had as a child. I remember thinking about it and saying it to others when I had the chance.
I believed that....

* Note: I grew up playing with the original, tiny, Polly Pockets. Each figurine wasn't more than 2 cm tall.
